Why We Built TechHR
I run Tech Lead Malaysia, and like other SME owners, I need to handle HR. EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB. When an employee joins, there are 5 forms. When an employee resigns, there are 7 forms. Every month there is payroll. Every year Statutory rules change. I tried many HR systems before building our own. The market typically offers either: built for large companies with HR teams, or too simplified for serious SMEs. Statutory-compliant ones are usually ugly and slow. Ones with good UI typically do not handle Malaysian rules accurately. We built TechHR because we needed it ourselves. And if we needed it, many Malaysian SMEs need it too.
